Training program for sound engineers at the Moffou studio

Having defined cultural diversity as a pillar of its sustainable development policy, Vivendi contributes to developing capacities for production of local content.
In Mali, Vivendi is continuing its training program for sound engineers. Launched in 2006, this program supports singer-songwriter and performer Salif Keita in his commitment to promoting young talent and making his studio in Bamako, Le Moffou, a crossroads for all of West Africa. The program was selected by UNESCO for its contribution to strengthening local cultural capacities and infrastructures.
This report was filmed in 2011 during the seventh edition of the training program, which focused on live sound recording techniques.
