What is culture? Why is it important for individuals and society? Culture(s) with Vivendi asked these questions to young people attending the Solidays music festival.

Can sustainable development disregard culture? Solidays is the place to raise this question. Organized since 1999 by Solidarité SIDA (a French AIDS awareness association), Solidays is a unique festival where musical diversity goes hand in hand with civic engagement. Culture(s) with Vivendi has given the floor to young festival-goers at the “Solidarity Village”, the festival’s area devoted to NGOs. For the interviewees, there is no doubt that culture is necessary to ensure the harmonious development of both individuals and societies.
