Patricia Teglia

Freelance press agent

July 25, 2014

“I prefer the term “talent developer” because I help artists develop their careers by managing their media relations.”

The winner of a prize awarded by the Académie Charles-Cros (a French association that brings together music critics and professionals), Patricia Teglia is a freelance music press agent. However, she prefers to describe herself as a "talent developer" because her job consists in helping artists “share all of their artistry with the public”. Not surprisingly, the press office she founded some 15 years ago in Nantes is called “Aoura”, which means “exploring for gold” in Breton. Yodelice, Von Pariahs, Ben l'Oncle Soul, Maissiat and Stromae are some of the artists Patricia Teglia has worked with. In addition, Patricia works as a band manager for Bikini Machine. We met Patricia at the Solidays music festival. She was there to assist French singer-songwriter Yodelice who performed at the festival this year.
