A neighborhood record store in a regional American city is at risk of being sold to a multinational retail chain. The staff of young employees rallies around Joe, the manager, in order to find some way to save the store within 24 hours. One employee, Lucas, takes the store's receipts to the casino! But the results aren't what he'd hoped for, as we see in this sequence (in French).
The soundtrack meshes some big names in rock, such as AC/DC and the Cranberries, with musicians from the US alternative scene. Moyle wanted some fresh faces to play the shop's young staff, and among the faces to be seen on the film's poster are Liv Tyler and Renée Zellweger, just launching their careers.
